BENGALS: Scott Mitchell threw for 238 yards against New England after Cincinnati totaled 261 yards passing in their previous four games.

BILLS: Buffalo's 21-17 victory against Kansas City was its first at Arrowhead Stadium since 1986. ... Eric Moulds has caught a ball in 45 consecutive games, breaking the team record held by Thurman Thomas and Andre Reed. Moulds also went past the 1,000-yard mark for the second time in his career.

BRONCOS: Gus Frerotte's 462 passing yards broke Frank Tripucka's Denver single-game record Sunday against San Diego. Tripucka had 447 in 1962.

BROWNS: Center Dave Wohlabaugh, one of the few offensive linemen who had been healthy all season, sustained a high sprain to his right ankle and could miss this week's game. Coach Chris Palmer said Wohlabaugh is "very iffy" for this week's game at Baltimore. ... Cleveland, which had given up just 19 sacks through the first 11 games, allowed four sacks against Tennessee.

CHARGERS: Coach Mike Riley said quarterback Ryan Leaf will remain the starter in the final five games as the team keeps trying for its first win. He will try to decide whether the embattled Leaf has a future with the team. ... After falling by a point to Denver on Sunday, six of San Diego's losses this season have been by a total of 12 points.

CHIEFS: After two TD passes against Buffalo, Elvis Grbac has a career-best 23 this season. ... Guard Will Shields played in his 121st consecutive game.

COLTS: Peyton Manning passed for 294 yards against Green bay to become the first NFL quarterback to top 3,000 yards in each of his first three seasons.

DOLPHINS: Punt returner Jeff Ogden sprained his right shoulder against New York. His status is to be determined. ... Miami has been outscored 88-34 in the fourth quarter this season.

JAGUARS: Jacksonville had two interceptions (by Donovin Darius and Kevin Hardy) against Pittsburgh on Sunday, after making three in its previous seven games.

JETS: Vinny Testaverde threw two interceptions against Miami and has at least two in each of his past five games. ... New York, minus-7 in turnovers the past three weeks, was plus-2.

PATRIOTS: After Sunday's 16-13 victory, coach Bill Belichick has won his past eight games against the Bengals. As coach of the Browns, Belichick faced the Bengals twice a season. ... Terry Glenn moved into fourth place in team history with 295 catches after making 11 for 129 yards.

RAIDERS: Oakland's victory at New Orleans was the first for the team at the Superdome since Jan. 25, 1981, against Philadelphia in Super Bowl XV.

Defensive tackle Larry Webster made his season debut after serving an eight-week suspension from the league. He did not make a tackle. ... The team is not shying from talk about a record for shutouts in a season. "We're talking about five shutouts and tying the record. That's substantial. That's something worth talking about. That's a motivation that serves this team very well," coach Brian Billick said.

SEAHAWKS: If Damon Huard can avoid another concussion or another injury this season, he'll be the starting quarterback in their final five regular-season games, coach Mike Holmgren said. "I've got my fingers crossed," he said. "Brock was the starting quarterback before he was injured. We're sticking with the plan."

STEELERS: Before Sunday night's 234-yard effort by Fred Taylor, there had been two previous 200-yard rushing games against Pittsburgh: by Buffalo's O.J. Simpson (227 yards in 1975) and the Giants' Joe Morris (202 in 1985). ... After gaining 57 yards against Jacksonville, Jerome Bettis needs 74 for his fifth consecutive 1,000-yard season.

TITANS: Tennessee's seven turnovers against Cleveland were not a team record. The then-Houston Oilers had 10 in a 24-13 loss to Oakland in September 1963.
