The following groups and organizations will be hosting Thanksgiving Day dinners on Nov. 23:
VFW Post 10209 and Ladies Auxiliary, 15166 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill: A social hour will begin at 1 p.m., dinner will be served from 2 to 4 p.m., and music will be performed by Shelly Brady until 6 p.m. Turkey with all the trimmings will be served, with pie for dessert. Tickets are $6. This event is open to the public. For information and/or tickets, call the post at 796-0398 or Peggy Koulan at 686-6598. SNPJ Lodge 778, 13383 County Line Road, Spring Hill: Dinner served from 2 to 3 p.m. The menu will include turkey, pork loin, mashed and sweet potatoes, dressing, gravy, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, coffee and tea. There will also be live entertainment. Tickets are $7.50. Call Grace, 683-1232. VFW Post 8681 David G. Snyder Memorial Post, 18940 Drayton St. (at County Line Road), Shady Hills: Dinner served from 1 to 3 p.m. Tickets are $4.50, and are available in the post's canteen. Purchase tickets early.
