The Association is an organization serving Hillsborough County construction-related businesses, including builders, developers, suppliers, subcontractors, lending institutions, architectural and engineering firms, as well as insurance companies. Shimberg is a home builder and a licensed real estate broker. He earned his bachelor's degree in finance from Indiana University and his master's degree in business administration from USF. The law firm of Barr, Murman, Tonelli, Slother & Sleet announces that Jerry A. Setchel has been named a partner. He will continue his practice in the areas of general civil litigation, negligence defense, nursing home negligence, product liability defense, employment discrimination, insurance coverage and ERISA litigation. Luana Russell, a Realtor with RE/MAX ACR Group Inc. has been recognized as a top agent in the Brandon office. Russell has been in the real estate profession for more than 25 years and holds the Realtor GRI and CRS credentials. Jeffrey M. Sullivan has joined the law firm of Foley & Lardner as a member of the litigation department. Sullivan will focus his practice on commercial litigation. He received his juris doctorate from the University of Florida College of Law. The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants has inducted Michael J. Mard of the Financial Valuation Group into the AICPA Business Valuation Hall of Fame. This honor was presented for his outstanding service to the business valuation profession. Fowler White has expanded its intellectual property group by adding three attorneys to the practice: Stacy A. Gallagher, Monica Mason and James M. Matulis. Ms. Gallagher will practice in the area of patent, trademark and copyright prosecution and litigation. She was formerly with the firm's St. Petersburg litigation department. Ms. Mason was formerly with the business litigation department. She has an active practice in the area of trademark/service mark and copyright prosecution and infringement litigation, non-competition covenants, trade secrets and unfair competition. Matulis will also practice in the area of patent, trademark and copyright prosecution and litigation. He was formerly with the firm's products liability group. Kevin Ashley has joined Engelhardt, Hammer & Associates, a planning firm, as a senior planner. Ashley has more than 14 years of experience in planning and zoning in the public sector.
