Burn off those Thanksgiving day calories via the Tampa Gallery Association's solution: this year's annual Thanksgiving weekend gallery hop.
The event takes place Saturday from 3 to 9 p.m. and includes 17 galleries and museums. A variety of arts will be offered in a variety of mediums.
If you prefer not to drive, HARTline will provide yellow trolley buses. Two routes begin at the Tampa Museum of Art and cover all the venues.
Suggested parking is at the Curtis-Hixon Parking Garage on the corner of Ashley Drive and Twiggs Street. Trolleys will operate every 20 minutes throughout the day and are free.
Called "The Art of Giving," the hop offers participants the option of dropping off donations of cash or canned foods at each stop, to support the Divine Providence Food Bank.
The hop is free. Most galleries will offer light refreshments, and some will have live music. Artists will be on hand at some locations.
The venues:

Joseph Sawchuks Moon Dance is at the New Heights Gallery as part of the Tampa Gallery Associations gallery hop.
