Tickets go on sale at noon Sun. for the second half of Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center's Broadway series: The Scarlet Pimpernel, Jan. 30-Feb. 24; Les Miserables, Feb. 13-25; Fosse, Feb. 27-March 4; Cabaret, March 20-25; and Civil War, May 8-13. Half-price student rush tickets are on sale to It's a Wonderful Life, a stage adaptation of the holiday film classic that has three shows Tuesday and Wednesday at Mahaffey Theater. With valid ID, students may purchase discounted tickets at any time at the box office. Regular tickets are $27-$33.
On the horizon
Duncan -- Marilyn McGinnis plays modern dance pioneer Isadora Duncan in the premiere of David McElroy's Isadora Nov. 30-Dec. 17 at Gorilla Theatre. $14 and $17.
Bell -- Violinist Joshua Bell is the soloist with the Florida Orchestra in William Brohn's new arrangement of West Side Story Suite Nov. 30-Dec. 3. $20-$38.
Piano -- Andre Watts plays Beethoven, Mozart, Haydn and Chopin in a piano recital Dec. 7 at Van Wezel Hall. $32-$40.
Symphony -- Florida West Coast Symphony premieres David Carlson's Quantumsymphony Dec. 8-9 at Van Wezel Hall. $20-$50.
"Jekyll' -- Jekyll & Hyde, the Frank Wildhorn musical, is at Van Wezel Hall Dec. 15-17. $23-$52.
Manilow -- The Barry Manilow musical Copacabana opens a weeklong run Dec. 26 at Ruth Eckerd Hall. $25-$45.
Diller -- Phyllis Diller is featured Dec. 29 in Lido la Tournee at Mahaffey Theater. $25-$55.
