The entertaining Christmas story features a grouchy radio personality and his self-serving antics. Performances will be at 8 p.m. today and Saturday, Dec. 1-2, 8-9 and 15-16 and at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3 and 10. Clinics will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. (for ages 8 to 9) and 10:30 a.m. to noon (for ages 10 to 12) on Dec. 2 and Dec. 16. the clinic will offer instruction on basic basketball skills including dribbling, passing and shooting. cost is $10 for facility members, $16 for program members. Faghih, M.D., cardiologist, will present the lecture "Well-Informed Seniors: Preventing Cardiac Disease-New Insight for Cardiac Care." The lecture will cover the following: a new way to look at cardiac care and treatment; lifestyle; risk and genetic factors; and advances being made in cardiology. Looking aheadWORLD AIDS DAY: The University of South Florida HIV/AIDS Committee will present its fourth annual World AIDS Day event from noon to 2:30 p.m. Dec. 1, at the Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza at USF, 4202 E Fowler Ave. "Make A Difference," will focus on awareness, education and prevention and will pay tribute to those who have died of AIDS as well as those who live with HIV. A highlight of the event will be the addition of forty-five 6- by 3-foot panels to the USF Memorial Quilt that have been made by USF students, employees and others. The Adopt-A-Panel Project began in 1997 and was inspired by the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt. For information, call (813) 974-5703. AARP MEETING: The AARP Greater Keystone Chapter No. 3555 will host its annual Christmas dinner at noon Dec. 4.
