Eckerd College will commemorate World AIDS Day Thursday and Friday. Beth Boyer Kollas, director and research coordinator of the Orlando Regional Mind/Body/Spirit Center, will speak at 6 p.m. Thursday at Fox Hall. After Kollas' presentation, there will be a candlelight walk to Griffin Chapel for a brief service followed by a 24-hour vigil. Photos, poems and artwork by Eckerd students, faculty and staff will be on display Friday. The event will culminate with worship in Griffin Chapel at 4 p.m. Call 864-7757 for information.

The Eckerd Theater Department will present staged readings of Shakespeare's Macbeth at 8 p.m. Saturday through Dec. 5 in Bininger Theater. Tickets are $5, $3 for senior citizens. Call 894-8279 for information.
