Santa Claus to arrive by WFLA-Ch. 8 helicopter

Santa Claus will arrive aboard "Eagle 8" from WFLA-Ch. 8 in the center of Sun City Center Plaza at 10:45 a.m. on Friday during the annual "Holiday Kick-off Parade" and will meet Ronald McDonald as he leads the parade. Santa Fest celebration comes downtown

Santa Fest will be visiting with the children from 3 to 7 p.m. on Saturday as part of the city's annual holiday celebration along the outdoor Franklin Street Mall in downtown Tampa. A parade begins at 7:30 p.m. at Morgan and Madison Streets and finishes on Tyler Street. Entertainment will be provided on seven stages along with 30 tons of snow for the kids to play in. Christmas stroll brings Victorian atmosphere

Experience the charm of a 19th century holiday at the Tampa Bay Hotel during "Toys, Trees and Tradition," the annual Victorian Christmas stroll from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday through Dec. 23 at the Henry B.
