Man, 31, killed after car hits embankment

DADE CITY -- A 31-year-old man died Sunday after his car hit an embankment and flipped, partially ejecting him.
Felipe de Jesus Mendoza Castillo, of 15032 Hillsborough Ave., Dade City, was driving north on 21st Street about 3:10 p.m. when the accident happened, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
Troopers said Castillo hit an embankment on the west side of the road, and his 1996 Ford flipped onto its roof, pinning him underneath. He was not wearing a seat belt.
According to patrol reports, Castillo's death was the 95th traffic-related death in Pasco County this year.
