Public hearing on Dade City bypass slatedBy CHASE SQUIRES© St. Petersburg Times, published November 27, 2001 DADE CITY -- The Florida Department of Transportation has scheduled a public hearing on the future of the U.S. 98 bypass around Dade City for 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday. The hearing will be held to allow anyone interested to review plans and offer comments on the design, as well as the potential social, economic and environmental impact. The plan that transportation officials are considering would widen the two-lane road to four lanes, with bike lanes and sidewalks. Displays will be available for people to review throughout the hearing, with a formal presentation and comment period scheduled for 6 p.m. © 2006 • All Rights Reserved • St. Petersburg Times
