Marine Corps Pfc. Michael J. Billetdeoux, son of Walter Billetdeoux and Colleen and Paul Jones of St. Petersburg, completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. He is attending Aviation Ordinance School at Pensacola Naval Air Station.

Billetdeoux is a 2001 graduate of Boca Ciega High School.

Marine Corps Pfc. Viet T. Ho, son of Nhung N. and Viet T. Thi of St. Petersburg, has reported for duty with 1st Supply Battalion, 1st Force Service Support Group, Camp Pendleton, Calif.

A 1998 graduate of Lakewood High School, Ho joined the Marine Corps in June 1998.
