A rockin' Christmas tradition
Celebrate the joys of the holiday season with your favorite Tampa Bay area bands at the annual "You'll Shoot Your Eye Out" extravaganza.
The night kicks off with a presentation of the hilarious and now classic flick A Christmas Story starring Peter Billingsley, who plays Ralphie, the little kid who yearns to find a Red Ryder BB gun under his Christmas tree, and gets his tongue stuck to the pole by taking a dare from friends.
Later in the evening, enjoy holiday hits and other tunes performed by locals Ashes of Grisum, Sparky's Nightmare, the Gita, Hazard Factor, the Caffeine Kids and Chucky Luv.
"You'll Shoot Your Eye Out" begins at 7 p.m. Saturday, with bands performing at 9 p.m., at the State Theatre, 687 Central Ave., St. Petersburg. Admission is $7. (727) 895-3045.
