Brass -- The Florida Orchestra Brass Quintet plays a holiday program Dec. 7 at the Dunedin Fine Art Center. $20.

Violin -- Mozart, Sarasate, Ravel and Schumann are on the agenda of Joshua Ulrich, violin, and Evan Solomon, piano, Dec. 10 at Dendy-McNair Auditorium at Eckerd College. Free.

Cello -- James Connors plays a Haydn cello concerto with the Florida Orchestra, Thomas Wilkins conducting, in a "coffee" concert Dec. 13 at Mahaffey Theater. $17-$26.

Moscow -- The Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, led by Yuri Simonov, performs Dec. 13 at Van Wezel Hall. $45-$55.

Xmas -- An adaptation of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas by Victoria Holloway and Lee Ahlin runs Dec. 14-30 at American Stage. $7-$15.

Handel -- The Master Chorale and the Florida Orchestra, conducted by Richard Zielinski, perform Handel's Messiah Dec. 29 at Mahaffey Theater. $20-$38.

Peters -- On Jan. 4, Bernadette Peters gives a concert at Ruth Eckerd Hall. $50.

Carreras -- Jose Carreras sings Jan. 16 at Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. $45-$150.
