SAN ANTONIO -- Former Springstead High School standout Angie DeAngelis enjoyed a season of personal success as a freshman on the Saint Leo women's soccer squad, but team success was no where to be found.
DeAngelis, the program's first recruit and signee, led the Lions with four goals and eight points as a striker, but the team finished 0-16.
The next-highest scorer was Helen Brady, who had four points.
DeAngelis started every Saint Leo game, put nine of her 11 shots on goal and was 1-for-1 on penalty kicks.
