Jason Allen, 26, of Seminole was working on a building that will be part of an office park near U.S. 19 and Pine Street at about 1:30 p.m. when he fell off the edge of the roof or a ladder, said Kevin Bowman, deputy chief of the Tarpon Springs Fire Department. Allen, who works for F & S Frame and Trim of Palm Harbor was flown to Bayfront Medical Center, where he was treated and released. Restaurant bookkeeper accused of theftLARGO -- A 44-year old Clearwater man has been charged been accused of stealing more than $50,000 from his employer, Ker Inc., the parent company of the Winghouse restaurant in Largo, police say. Restaurant bookkeeper Charles Eugene Gentry II of 1640 St. Paul's Drive arranged unauthorized bonuses to himself during the past 11 months, said Largo police. Winghouse owner Crawford Ker, a Dunedin High graduate who played professional football for the Dallas Cowboys, said he had no comment. Gentry was charged with grand theft and released Tuesday.
