    Completion of training

    Army Pvt. 2 Thomas M. Norman has completed calvary scout and basic training at Fort Knox, Ky. He has been assigned to Fort Stewart, Ga., where he will serve as a calvary scout. Norman, a 1997 graduate of East Lake High School, is the son of Thomas and Carmen Norman of Tarpon Springs and the grandson of Stan and Therese Norman of New Port Richey.

    Navy Seaman Apprentice Joshua Barron Rasor has completed basic training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill. He is stationed at New London Submarine Base in Groton, Conn., where he is attending basic enlisted submarine school. Upon completion, he plans to attend class A fire control technician school. Rasor, a 2001 graduate of Dunedin High School, is the son of Dar Rasor of Dunedin and Bill Rasor of Charlotte, N.C.

    Marine Corps Pvt. John Murray completed basic training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. Murray will continue his training at Camp Lejeune, N.C. He is the son of Kristine and James Murray of Clearwater.
