The Clearwater Public Library System is offering patrons a subscription to the Chapter-A-Day Book Club. Patrons who join the free online book club will receive up to three chapters of a popular book in their daily e-mail. Featured books can be checked out or reserved through the Clearwater Public Library System. Different books will be featured each week. Holmes for the holidays

Patrons can join an informal discussion of master detective Sherlock Holmes at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Clearwater Main Library, 100 N. Osceola Ave. Afterwards, a classic Basil Rathbone movie will be shown and a Sherlock Holmes trivia quiz presented. Refreshments will be provided for the free program. No reservations necessary. Meet a Monkee
