Tell us how you lost weightBy Times staff © St. Petersburg Times, published December 5, 2000 Holidays come and holidays go. Don't you wish you could say the same for excess weight? When the first of the year rolls around, there will be no shortage of advice on how to get slim in the new year. We figure you know HOW to lose weight (eat right and exercise) but it may be that motivation thing standing in your way. We want to hear from people who are winning the weight battle. What inspired you? What kept you eating carrots instead of cake? How did you stick to your eating plan and exercise regimen? If you've lost weight and kept it off, write and tell us what finally motivated you and we may include you in an upcoming Taste section story. Also include one tip that might spur someone else on to success. Mail your stories of triumph, with name, address and daytime phone number, by Dec. 15 to "Less Is More," Taste section, Newsfeatures, St. Petersburg Times, P.O. Box 1121, St. Petersburg, FL 33731. You may also e-mail them to floridian@sptimes.com. Please put "Less Is More" in the subject field. © St. Petersburg Times. All rights reserved. |
