    Holiday entertainment

    Students at Academie Da Vinci charter school invite the community to their performance of Holiday Night, Holiday Lights. Celebrate the season with music, dance and drama at 7 p.m. Dec. 11 at the Royalty Theater, 405 Cleveland. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students. For more information, call (727) 738-0701.

    Art contest

    VFW Post 2473 Ladies Auxiliary is sponsoring a young American patriotic art contest for high school students. For details, call (727) 738-4473.

    School fundraiser

    Cypress Woods Elementary is teaming up with Books-A-Million for a fundraiser Dec. 11-18. The school's gifted program will receive a percentage of each book purchase. If you stop by, make sure to pick up special vouchers at the store, so the school can keep track of funds raised during the event. The store is located at 33550 US 19, Palm Harbor.
