Airman Aymee Chantelle Laurain, daughter of Kay and Earl Laurain of St. Petersburg, has completed basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, where she will continue advanced training in the security field.

Laurain is a 2001 graduate of St. Petersburg High School.

Spec. 4 Jessica Doerrler, daughter of Debra and John Doerrler of St. Petersburg, has completed a six-month deployment to Kosovo as part of the U.S. Army's peacekeeping mission. She received a Kosovo campaign medal and a NATO medal.

Doerrler completed field medic training at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas, and graduated in the top 5 percent of her class after joining the Army in 1998. Prior to her deployment, she was stationed at Fort Stewart, Ga., where she provided medical care to military and civilian personnel in her capacity as an Army medic.

A 1996 graduate of Northeast High School and a 1998 graduate of St. Petersburg College, Doerrler is stationed at Fort Stewart.

Petty Officer 3rd Class Edward L. Davidson Jr., son of Emma Baynard and Edward L. Davidson Sr. of St. Petersburg, has been cited for the Joint Service Commendation Medal for meritorious service from November 1999 to November 2001 as an administrative assistant, Washington Field Office, U.S. Southern Command.

The grandson of Dora and Willie Frank Baynard of St. Petersburg, Davidson is a 1999 graduate of Lakewood High.

Navy Lt.j.g. John Wolstenholme III, son of Kathleen Wolstenholme of St. Petersburg and John F. Wolstenholme Jr. of Pinellas Park, was promoted to the rank of lieutenant. He is serving as executive officer of the Naval Aircraft Maintenance Training Unit at Lemoore (Calif.) Naval Air Station.

Wolstenholme is a 1982 graduate of Lakewood High.

Coast Guard Fireman Apprentice Charles Christopher Adams, son of Janine and Christopher Adams of St. Petersburg, completed basic training Oct. 19 at the Coast Guard Training Center, Cape May, N.J.

A 2000 graduate of Pinellas Park High School Criminal Justice Academy, Adams is undergoing mechanical engineering training at Yorktown (Va.) Training Center.
