This week's winner: Kim Salter of St. Petersburg knew that Butch Vig, hotshot music producer and the guy who twiddled the knobs for Nirvana's Nevermind, plays the drums behind Shirley Manson in Garbage.
* * *
This week's question: Today is songwriter Ira Gershwin's birthday. Gershwin and his brother George together composed several of America's most beloved musicals including Lady, Be Good!, Girl Crazy, Funny Face and the opera Porgy and Bess.
In 1932, Ira was the first songwriter to win a Pulitzer Prize for a musical satire about American politics that socially conscious brothers wrote. (George was not included in the honor because his contribution was musical and not literary.)
To enter your name in the random drawing for the Weekend T-shirt, tell me the name of the musical for which Ira won the prize.
