Busy comedian finds time for Tampa
Kevin Meaney is all over cable television these days. He's a regular on Comedy Central. He is a panelist on Animal Planet's You Lie Like a Dog. He's developing a cooking show.
Meaney opened for Jerry Seinfeld on Broadway a few years ago. He has appeared on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Politically Incorrect, the sitcom Uncle Buck and a host of other television shows. Oh yeah, and he does standup.
Meaney performs at 8 and 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Side Splitters Comedy Club, Cascades Plaza, 12938 N Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa. Tickets are $16 and $18. The 8 p.m. Friday show is nonsmoking. For tickets or more information, call (813) 960-1197.
