Police reportsBy Times staff writers © St. Petersburg Times, published December 9, 2000 Neighbor accused of trapping catsZEPHYRHILLS -- This much is true: Robert Livingston, 41, doesn't like neighborhood cats roaming over his property, at 40049 Pretty Redbird Road. His neighbor, Sharon Cunningham, 55, of 40051 Pretty Redbird Road, thinks he's taken his dislike way too far. Cunningham told Pasco County Sheriff's deputies on Thursday that Livingston has been using a wooden box with a sliding door to trap neighborhood cats for several months. Cunningham told deputies that she is missing a cat and thinks that her next door neighbor trapped it and disposed of it. She said that on Nov. 28, she left the cat outside around 9 p.m. and it never returned. The next day, she saw Livingston hauling something away in his pickup truck, she said. Livingston told deputies that he has trapped cats in his yard in the past. He said he did it after discussing the problem with county animal control workers, and he has taken the cats to the Land O'Lakes Animal Control Center. But Livingston denied trapping any cats lately and said that Cunningham brings cats home frequently and lets them run free over his yard. He told deputies that if the cats continue to mess with his property, he will start trapping them again. No charges were filed in the case. Deputies labeled the incident a neighbor problem with no criminal activity. Two armed men rob Zephyrhills bankZEPHYRHILLS -- Pasco County Sheriff's deputies were searching for two armed suspects who pulled off the latest bank robbery in Pasco County. No one was injured in the incident. The robbers struck around 10:30 a.m. Friday at the SunTrust Bank, 34511 State Road 54 in Zephyrhills. Witnesses said the two men entered the bank wearing masks and wielding handguns. They jumped the counter and escaped with an undisclosed amount of money, said Sheriff's Office spokesman Kevin Doll. Witnesses described one suspect as wearing a black shirt, black pants and a black jacket. The two robbers likely escaped in a white Toyota 4Runner heading east on SR 54, Doll said.
