Robin Hartill, daughter of Christy and Blake Hartill of St. Petersburg, is the $2,500 grand prize winner of the 2000 Skintimate Shave Gels Fruit for Thought contest.

Hartill, a St. Petersburg High School senior, wrote a 250-word essay explaining how her "fruit for thought" could benefit Alzheimer's patients.

She decided to donate her prize money to the Alzheimer's Association Tampa Bay Chapter. Of the more than 1,200 14- to 18-year-old girls who entered the nationwide contest, Hartill was the only one who offered to donate her prize to her designated charity.

Her efforts secured a matching grant from Skintimate for the organization.
