Ericka Womack, who led Bayshore Christian with 276 kills this season, was named to the Class A all-state first team Wednesday.

Womack, a junior, helped lead the Faith Warriors to a 23-10 record and into a regional final before losing 15-3, 15-11 to Orlando Pine Castle.

Womack has gained a reputation for having an extremely high vertical leap and great velocity on her spikes.

"The great thing is that she's only going to get better," Bayshore coach Melanie Humenansky said. "She just has so much potential."
