Badgers top Evansville

MADISON, Wis. -- Tamara Moore scored 20 and Jessie Stomski added 19 to lead No. 23 Wisconsin to an 86-71 victory against Evansville on Thursday night.

Stomski and Nina Smith each added 11 rebounds for the Badgers, who also got 12 points and nine rebounds from LaTonya Sims.

Latasha Austin led Evansville with 15 points, and Jamie Gray added 13.

Evansville led 37-34 at halftime, but the Purple Aces were held to 31.6 percent shooting from the field (12-for-38) in the second half. The Badgers shot 60.6 percent (20-for-33).
