Cardinals at Giants.
OF NOTE: Both are pretty much out of the playoff chase, so this game means little. Both are coming off losses in which their offenses sputtered. The Giants have a young secondary, but don't count on quarterback Jake Plummer exploiting it. If the Cards couldn't score more than 10 points against the Redskins Sunday, they won't get much more against the Giants. Tiki Barber usually has big games against the Cards, a trend that should continue today. Cards need to protect Plummer from Michael Strahan, who remains on pace to reach the league sack record of 22. If Plummer throws for close to 300 yards, the Cards will win.
FRY'S PROMISE: Giants 17, Cardinals 13
OF NOTE: The Raiders have looked shaky in their past two games, losing to Arizona and barely beating Kansas City. What they need is easy prey, a wounded and defenseless opponent like the Chargers, who've lost six straight. The Raiders have won seven of the past eight meetings and should extend that streak today. That is, unless the Raiders, who have been getting gashed by opposing runners, let rookie running back LaDainian Tomlinson bust loose. Either way, expect another close call for the Raiders.
