HIGHS

KEYSHAWN JOHNSON: There are big talkers and there are big-time players. This Buc is a better player than talker, which given his standards is saying a lot.

WINTER MEETINGS: Finally, some baseball trades, signings and rumors about player movement as opposed to threats, suits and rumors about franchise folding.

LOWS

HEISMAN (NON-)VOTERS: To have less than two-thirds of potential voters turn in ballots in a year when the results are as close as ever is a disservice to the athletes. If you don't care to vote, ask that your name be removed.
