Gallery celebrating 300 years of pianos
CLEARWATER -- During December, the Music Gallery, 5990 Ulmerton Road, Clearwater, will have one of Steinway & Sons' Tricentennial artcase pianos. The visit of the piano commemorates the 300th anniversary of the invention of the piano. The Tricentennial represents the first time a Steinway limited-edition piano has been created jointly at company factories in New York and Hamburg, Germany. From now and through Dec. 31, pianists, teachers and students can make appointments to see and play the piano. To sign up for either or for information, call the Music Gallery, (727) 530-3304.
