RECORDS: Florida State 2-8; Binghamton 4-4.

COACHES: Florida State -- Steve Robinson (45-56, fourth season; 91-74 overall). Binghamton -- Al Walker (4-4, first season; 145-175).

KEY PLAYERS: Florida State -- Michael Joiner, F, 6-7 Fr. (10.7 ppg, 6.1 rpg); Delvon Arrington, PG, 5-11 Sr. (10.0 ppg, 4.6 apg); Mike Mathews, C, 6-10 So. (7.3 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 1.9 bpg). NOTES: The Seminoles, coming off an 87-85 double-overtime loss at Cleveland State on Tuesday, complete an arduous stretch of three games in five days against a program in its final season of Division II. Binghamton is a provisional Division I team and counts as such in the RPI. ... The Seminoles can't seem to defend the three-point shot (Cleveland State hit 10 of 18) and hit their own; they were 2-of-10 against the Vikings and are shooting 26.5 percent on the season. ... Joiner is coming off a career-best 22 points. Junior college transfer G Monte Cummings had a career-high 18, and sophomore C Mike Mathews, who sat out 1999-2000 as a partial qualifier, had 11 points and six rebounds in his second start. ... Binghamton has four Floridians on its roster: St. Fort (Miami Monsignor Pace), Wright (Hallendale High) and reserve Fs Kyle Washington (Miami Norland) and Garth Campbell (St. Thomas Aquinas).
