Help with health insurance
The Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders program is looking for volunteers in Pinellas and Pasco counties to help elders make informed decisions about Medicare and health insurance. SHINE volunteers provide individual counseling and assistance to elders and their caregivers about Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare plan choices, long-term care and other health insurance issues.
