Beyers has been activated as an intelligence analyst at Fort Gordon, Augusta, Ga. He is a graduate of Countryside High School and the University of South Florida. Beyers works as an industrial engineer for Sun Hydraulics in Sarasota. He is the son of Chris Beyers of Dunedin, and the late Gerald C. Beyers of Clearwater, and the husband of Daniela Beyers of Bradenton. Army Pfc. Terence A. Williams returned from duty in Korea after two years of service with the 15th Field Artillery Battalion, 2nd Division. He has been assigned to Fort Campbell, Ky. Williams is the grandson of Lt. Col. Terence Huck and Dorothy Huck of Largo. PromotionsLance Cpl. Ryan R. Lynch was recently promoted to his present rank and achieved qualification as a rifle and pistol expert. He is stationed at Camp LeJeune, N.C., where he serves in the 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Division. Lynch, a 2000 graduate of Pinellas Park High School, is the son of Michael Lynch of Clearwater Beach and Maria Lynch of Largo. Completion of trainingU.S. Air Force 1st Lt. Eric C. Schmidt graduated from Tyndall Air Force Base F-15 Fighter Training Unit. In 1999, he graduated with distinguished academic and military honors from the United States Air Force Academy, where he was on the commandant's and dean's lists every semester. He was a wing honor education officer, an instructor pilot and a member of the Soaring Spin-Acrobatics Team. He ranked 34th out of 938 cadets and was named Outstanding Airman by the American Fighter Aces Association. In 2000, Schmidt graduated from Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training at Sheppard Air Force Base and qualified to fly the T-37 and T-38 jets. He has been assigned to the 44th Fighter Squadron at Okinawa's Kadena Air Base.
