Paez said authorities arrested a man fitting that description a short time later at Delbarton Street and Mariner Boulevard as he was leaving the area.

No details were immediately available on the man's identity or a possible motive.

Paez said no injuries were reported.

Witnesses said Hicks was heavily intoxicated and instigated the fight, the report said. Afterward, he lay on the ground bleeding and was taken to Oak Hill Hospital for treatment.

On the way, according to the report, Hicks attacked a rescue worker inside the ambulance, punching him twice in the chest.

Rescue workers and a deputy restrained Hicks, who was treated and released from the hospital before going to jail on battery charges.

According to a Sheriff's Office report, Munsey admitted taking the jug, but said it only contained $83, which he gave to authorities.
