Inverness Rotary changes address

INVERNESS -- The Rotary Club of Inverness will begin the new year meeting at a new location. The club, which for years has met at the Crown Hotel, will meet at Godfather's Pizza House on U.S. 41 in Inverness starting Jan. 8. The meetings still will be held at 12:15 p.m. every Tuesday.

Kensington salutes bright spots

KENSINGTON -- The Kensington Estates Property Owners Association announced the winners of its holiday home lighting contest: first place, Mr. and Mrs. John Longacre, 665 E Knightsbridge Place; second place, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Poliseno, 702 E Knightsbridge Place; third place, Mr. and Mrs. Merle Paulsen, 425 E Lancaster St. Gift certificate awards will be presented to the winners at the association's board of directors' meeting Jan. 8. Judges were Deb Thompson, Robert Zygarlowski and Diane Nally.
