Buccaneers coach Tony Dungy on Derrick Brooks' second-quarter interception:
"It was a big play. You know it's going to be a tight game, and you are going to need big plays. That changed the field position, and we got a score and got up nine points, so it was a huge play."
Dungy on Doug Brien:
"He is an accurate kicker, and we have a lot of confidence in him."
Bucs fullback Mike Alstott:
"We have a never-say-die attitude, and that is because of Coach (Dungy). We just came out here and kept plugging. We knew good things were just going to fall into place."
Alstott on his running:
"Baltimore was playing some good defense. We were just trying to put it down their throats. They are a great defense."
Bucs cornerback Ronde Barber on his interception:
"It took a lot of hard work, and there was never a time that I thought I would be getting interceptions, but there are a million reasons for my success and the 10 interceptions is a nice accomplishment."
Brooks:
"We had to make a statement. We had to come out and play our best defense tonight. We have been taking a lot of flak, but we have been hanging together all year long. Tonight, we did what we had to do. Hopefully, we move on to Philadelphia. Right now, we are going to enjoy the victory and the next three days off, so happy New Year."
Defensive tackle Warren Sapp:
"It was a great win for our ballclub tonight. We outplayed the defending Super Bowl champions and put on a great show in our house, in front of our fans and in front of a national television audience. Our backs were against the wall, and we came out and performed like playoff teams do in December."
Free safety Dexter Jackson:
"Everyone was looking for Lynch, Lynch, Lynch and they left me free. I was able to make the plays. It was a good night."
Ravens coach Brian Billick on Brooks' 53-yard interception return:
"It was like most interceptions like that, that are taken down to the 1. It's hard to overcome a mistake like that, particularly when you are playing playoff-style ball and a playoff-style team."
Billick on Todd Yoder's punt block:
"We had two punts blocked last year in a playoff game. I tend to remember them."
Billick on the Ravens' playoff chances:
"We still have control of our destiny, unless I'm mistaken."
Ravens wide receiver Travis Taylor on his 14-yard touchdown:
"That play is called Y-spot, where the tight end is the primary receiver on a spot route. I am the first read, though, if the corners are in press coverage and they were. I ran a 9 route to the outside, and Elvis (Grbac) just made a great throw and I just came down with it."
