Here is a listing of public meetings scheduled for this week in Hernando County:

Wednesday

Hernando County Commission, 9 a.m., Commission chambers, Hernando County Government Center, 20 N Main St., Brooksville. Agenda: Land-use issues.10 a.m. public hearing to consider transmittal of a proposed comprehensive plan amendment to the Florida Department of Community Affairs and review agencies for comments. It is an amendment to the transportation element, which includes changes to the transportation maps to be consistent with the Hernando County Metropolitan Planning Organization's long range transportation plan.

Hernando County Port Authority, 7 p.m., Hernando Beach Recreation Center, 6340 Shoal Line Blvd., Hernando Beach.
