Carrollwood Players offer 'Present Laughter'

Big Band music on tap at hall

Community Hall presents live music from the 20-piece Sun City Center Big Band from 7 to 10 p.m. on Jan. 13 at the hall, 1910 S Pebble Beach, Sun City. Gentlemen should wear dress jackets and ties. Museum showcases Ybor streetcar system

Ybor City Museum Society presents an exhibit on the history of Ybor's streetcar system and its upcoming return to Ybor, in 2002, after 60 years. The exhibit runs Jan. 8-31. The museum is at 1818 E Ninth Ave. The museum hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week. Admission is $2 per person. Children younger than 6 are admitted free. Call (813) 247-1434.

Business group hosts motivational speaker

West Coast Business Professionals (WCBP), an affiliate of the National Association for Female Executives, presents motivational speaker, author, and team builder Andrew Sanderbeck from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Doubletree Guest Suites, Rocky Point. Aquarium features Theodore Tugboat

Tour a 65-foot, 105-ton, full-size replica of Theodore Tugboat, from the popular PBS preschool children's television show, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday at the Florida Aquarium, 701 Channelside Drive. The tour is free with aquarium admission. Call (813) 273-4000.

Drainage topic of public meeting
