Single-game tickets on sale

PETERSBURG -- Tickets to individual Devil Rays games, including the April 9 home opener against Boston, go on sale at 10 a.m. today. Tickets are available with no service charge at the Tropicana Field box office and with a charge through Ticketmaster outlets, telephone sales (727-898-RAYS in Pinellas, 813-282-RAYS) and via the Internet at www.ticketmaster.com. Prices range from $3 to $160 a game. In a change from last season, the Southwest Freedom Fare discount tickets ($3 for adults, $1.50 for kids and seniors) will be available starting today for all home games. They were sold on a per-homestand basis in 1998. The team is continuing to sell full season tickets and 20-game mini plans. Devil Rays Fan Fest WHEN: 10-4 today, noon-4 Sunday. WHERE: Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg. HOW MUCH: Admission and parking are free.
