He was awarded the 1998 Pulitzer Prize for feature writing for Angels & Demons, a story about an Ohio woman and her two daughters who were murdered while visiting Tampa in 1989. |
Cherie Diez, 42, has been a Times photographer since 1980. Her photos have appeared in many series, including Angels & Demons, A Gift Abandoned and The Girl Whose Mother Lives in the Sky. |
