By SUZANNE HAYES © St. Petersburg Times, published September 27, 1998 The Compassionate Friends Bereaved Parents Support Group meets on the first Thursday of each month at the Spring Hill Enrichment Center, 1244 Mariner Blvd., next to the YMCA and behind AJ's restaurant. The meeting draws parents from Pasco, Hernando and surrounding counties. Thursday's meeting will deal with how siblings deal with the death of a brother or sister. Specialist to discuss cancer at church * * *Cancer -- the causes, prevention, diagnosis and treatment -- is the topic when Dr. Joseph Sennabaum speaks at 7 p.m. Friday in the St. James Centrum at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, 8400 Monarch Drive, Port Richey. He will also talk about new hope in fighting cancer. Sennabaum holds staff privileges at six area hospitals, and he is associated with New Hope Cancer Centers. He completed his fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa., and is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. Participants will be encouraged to ask questions. No reservations are required. Alzheimer's walk planned for Oct. 3 * * *Reminder: The West Central Florida Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association will have its 1998 Memory Walk and Fun Day from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Clair Field, behind Schwettman School in New Port Richey. Nurse association offers shots * * * The Visiting Nurse Association will offer flu shots for $10 and pneumonia shots for $20 at the following locations: Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. at St. Stevens Episcopal Church, 5326 Charles St., New Port Richey and from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Publix at Willow Bend on State Road 54 in Land O'Lakes.
