The Bucs are eager to establish a winning tradition in their new home. What feature do the players like best? That it will be filled with fans.
Stadium rose despite challenges
It was a bumpy ride to get the stadium financed and built.
Raymond James Stadium was designed to have it all at a relatively affordable price.
Adios, Big Sombrero
Please invite me to the big knockdown of the Big Sombrero. Can I throw out the first wrecking ball? Memories are rich. Nostalgia ample. But the demolition of Houlihan's Stadium (nee Tampa Stadium) belongs not in the emotional league of flattening, say, Ebbets Field in Brooklyn or old Municipal Stadium in Cleveland.
Soon, the crumbling will begin in earnest
Houlihan's fate has been set in stone. In a few months, the old stadium will be gone forever.
Access for disabled is much improved
Among other amenities, new stadium has 10 times as many wheelchair spaces.
How suite it is
A carved wooden skull on the stern of the Bucs' pirate ship will menace invading opponents.

The new stadium's many luxury suites are closer to the field and feature windows that can slide out of the way for an open-air feel.
The Bucs' new blades
The turf has been carefully planted and tended, with every weed pulled by hand.
The payoff for the county is in pride, not dollars
The new stadium, financed mostly by taxpayers, is a big moneymaker for the Bucs, not Hillsborough.
There will be a few changes in parking -- so arrive early
Many new goodies can be found at Raymond James Stadium, but don't hold your breath for less hassle finding a place to park.
Other big events are sure to come
The Bucs and Bulls dominate the stadium early, but expect major concerts and other sporting events in the future.
Questions and Answers
Q: I know the Bucs games officially are sold out. But are single-game tickets still available?
