Barbie Humphrey waits in the back of a school resource officer's car after being picked up for truancy in October 1997. Humphrey was later charged with battery after a fight at Hudson Middle School and was expelled. She attempted suicide by taking a fistful of pills. She and her unborn child survived. Story
