| The moon wears as cloak of black and red as it emerges from eclipse about 12:15 a.m. Friday over the steeple of First United Methodist Church of Brooksville. The reddish color near the shadow of the eclipse is caused by filtered light rays that are bent as they pass through the earth's atmosphere during the eclipse.
