Northwest Fire Station Lt. Robert Miller escorts Betteann Koring, who celebrated her 82nd birthday Monday, from her car to safety. Koring, who lives on Pine Island, said she was driving home on Pine Island Drive when her seat belt became uncomfortable. She sneezed while trying to remove the belt and veered into a canal beside the road. She was not injured.
