Gulf High School's Ryan McCarthy, 18, is reflected in a puddle as he makes a run at the high jump Friday at the school. The decathlon and heptathlon were interrupted by rain after the high jump, pole vault, 110-meter high hurdles and 100-meter hurdles. The competition is scheduled to resume at 3 p.m. today at Gulf's Des Little Stadium. Athletes from Gulf, Hudson, Land O'Lakes, River Ridge and Pasco high schools are participating.
