Fred Petitt, left, and Jim McConnon watch as the remains of McConnon's brother are lowered into the ground at Calvary Cemetery in Pittsburgh. John McConnon was killed when his bomber was shot down in 1944. Petitt, also on that mission, is the last living member of the crew.
