| Holly Babiak and David Albertson of Madeira Beach, right, escaped from their water-filled pickup Wednesday after it crashed off the Howard Frankland Bridge and into Tampa Bay in a hit-and-run accident that involved three vehicles. After they got out through the truck's windows, Babiak and Albertson swam to shore on the north side of the bridge. Here, they comfort each other as the truck is removed from the water. The crash happened about 4 p.m. on the bridge's westbound lanes, just east of the Fourth Street exit on the St. Petersburg side. Divers from the Tampa Police Department dive team attached ropes and chains to help raise the truck. No one was hurt in the accident. The Florida Highway Patrol could provide no further information.
