| More than 2,300 lightning strikes an hour streaked through Monday night's storm clouds from Pasco County to Sarasota, the National Weather Service reported. The Dunedin Causeway offered a clear view of the light show over Clearwater. A 30-second time exposure caught this single burst of lightning. The weather service said lightning activity peaked about 10 p.m.
